What is Artist Proof: Artist Proof Editions are the first pieces produced of one design used to confirm accurate duplication of the Artist's Master. These pieces are signed and numbered as Artist Proof (AP) and not included in the Edition size. Artist Proof edition sizes for Ebony Visions are limited to 50 pieces.
The Boss depicts the indomitable spirit and attitude of Robin Kruger, The Blackshear Circle club manager form 1997 through 2002. Her determination and big heart earned the love and respect of co-workers and collectors. Robin is recovering from the removal of a brain tumor in 2003.
Thomas Blackshear, sculptor Mark Newman, and Willitts Designs are donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of The Boss, to help Robin and her family through her recovery.
